Job Purpose

We are seeking a detail-driven and technically skilled EMP Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting, maintaining and enhancing our Electronic Maintenance System, ensuring accurate aircraft maintenance records, regulatory compliance and seamless collaboration between technical, planning and IT teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Support the operation, configuration and upkeep of the Electronic Maintenance System.
  • Maintain accurate aircraft, component and task data.
  • Monitor system performance, report issues and assist with upgrades and configuration changes.
  • Verify documentation and ensure data integrity across all maintenance records.
  • Generate maintenance status and compliance reports aligned with SACAA, EASA, FAA and other regulations.
  • Provide user support, basic training and manage system access.
  • Assist during internal and external audits.
  • Contribute to process improvements and system optimisation initiatives.

Key Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or relevant Aircraft Technical Qualification with related field experience.
  • 1–2 years’ experience working with an Electronic Maintenance System, ideally in a super-user or advanced support capacity.
  • Strong understanding of operational system implementation processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in engaging with users at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.

SKills Required

  • Strong computer literacy and system navigation skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Understanding of aviation maintenance workflows and documentation.
  • Ability to interpret technical information and system outputs.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
